I won’t lie, I hate theming Drupal. I would rather develop perfect PHP backend code all day then try to unravel the intracacies of why things break when I touch even one theme file. I have always admired Drupal Front End Developers who can deftly master this daliesque discipline.

I thought it would be good to hand it off to Claude. For the record, Claude ran into just as many NPM runtime issues as I usually do when setting up a new theme. (some small validation there).

Looking back at the co-working, Claude made a job that would normally take me three weeks conclude in about three and a half hours. For real.

Because I love Digital Ocean, and I’m enamored by their designer’s use of my favorite color, I decided to just use their look as a baseline for our creation, a subtheme of Drupal’s excellent ZURB Foundation Theme. I like Foundation because it is mobile-first and is built for the efficient GULP workflow.
